Chess|Rook

The rook in Chess moves horizontally or vertically, forward or back, until limited by an intervening piece.

*The rook captures an opponent's piece by occupying the cell where it stands.

*The rook participates in a special move called castling with the Chess/King.

Rooks represent siege towers, and get their name from elephant-mounted versions once used in India. They are usually made to look like little castles as a result.
